ROCCO Prompt is a structured prompt language developed at Illution as part of an ongoing research effort into how artificial intelligence can be used to create coherent, cinematic works.

It is not presented as a solution.
It is an attempt — one possible path among many toward understanding how machines and filmmakers might collaborate more effectively.

In that sense, ROCCO Prompt is less a product and more a working hypothesis.

A Language, Not an Answer

Across the history of technology, meaningful progress has often come from the creation of shared languages.

• BASIC gave early computers a human-readable form

• MIDI allowed musical intent to travel between machines

• HTML made the web legible and buildable

ROCCO Prompt follows this same principle:
it proposes a descriptive grammar for AI-generated cinema — not to dictate results, but to make creative intent communicable, testable, and comparable.

Why We Are Exploring This

Generative AI can already produce striking images and video.
What it struggles with is continuity, coherence, and intentionality over time.

Characters drift.
Styles collapse.
Stories fragment.

We believe this is not only a model problem, but a language problem.

ROCCO Prompt is an exploration of whether structured description can reduce that instability — not by constraining imagination, but by giving it a clearer frame.

How It Works

ROCCO Prompt organizes a creative brief into distinct layers, such as:

• pacing and post-production intent

These layers can be refined independently, reused across scenes, and studied as the project evolves.

This allows AI-driven filmmaking to move from single outputs to coherent systems.

It simply offers one carefully built way to say:
